Self Portrait

In this portrait I am depicting myself (very up-close) which is definitely a bit out of my comfort zone. I've seen a lot of photography done up-close in milk baths and it creates this very cool/soft tone that I wanted to paint. I thought it would be a good challenge to do a portrait of myself and conveying different textures like wet hair, reflection, water, softness, etc. I'd really like the audience to see the softness of the background in contrast to the bolder facial features and hair.
