Mia

My final painting is called Mia The Cat and I’m depicting my cat ‘Mia’. I choose to paint her because she’s the most precious thing in my life and, I want to express my love for her to the audiences. Mia is a cat who loves to sleep and, spends most of her day sleeping. So I depicted her sleeping in the clouds because she is like a real angel while she is sleeping. Clouds represent the comfort of her sleep and, sleeping symbolises her innocence. I used blacks, whites and shades of greys on her fur since its her original fur colour and made pinky, grey clouds. I try to define her long fur, fur pattern and I even add her face mark, a brown face mark, that Mia has on her face. Thank you!
