In this project, students were asked to create a modular typeface using limited number of modules. By transforming the modules (rotating, scaling proportionally, etc) students were able to create a typeface that has both variety and consistency.
The curriculum offers a strong foundation in the creation, history and theory of the visual arts and design, preparing students for professional careers and graduate studies. Students receive individualized attention from faculty who are committed to teaching excellence in traditional practices, expanded media and trans-disciplinary approaches to art, that emphasizes experimentation, problem-solving and collaboration.
