Confrontation, measuring 14 x 50 x 6 inches, is a triptych sculpture made from foam insulation, resin, acrylic, and ink. It is a visual representation of speaking and the anxieties involved therein. The word “breathe” is stamped on the second piece in the sequence and the word “tremor” is stamped on the third piece. Both words are stamped with ink and are placed to flow out as they are spoken.
