Avenir

Promotional material for Mara Baldwin’s exhibition at The Elsie B. Rosefsky Memorial Art Gallery. Includes a trifold flyer and a 11x17 poster. The colors chosen for the trifold were requested by the artist themselves, while I chose the placement which best complimented the images. The split artwork on the poster, coming in and out of the poster, is cropped from “Cosmos” (2017) by Mara Baldwin, representing the name of the exhibition “come right round”. The artist also requested for Avenir to be the font used for the trifold. With the artist’s requests in mind, I chose the font “AvenirCondensedHand” which fit the style of the artist’s hand drawn artworks. When the trifold is opened up, the design is a continuous image. The trifold and poster were created using Adobe InDesign.
