Bundy Museum

Working in partnership with staff at the Bundy Museum of History & Art, studients created artworks which responded to the museum's architecture, history and collection. Through these projects, students considered ideas around historical traces, collective memory, and archives, while exploring the Bundy family and business' specific technological, architectural, and domestic legacy. Projects designed by students ranged from sound and video installation, photography, sculpture, and printmaking.

Spool Mfg.

Working in partnership with Spool Contemporary Art Space, students created artworks which respond to the factory's architectural, material and labor legacy. Through these projects, students considered ideas around traces, deindustrialization and gentrification, while exploring the Lestershire Spool Company's history, and the broader ideals set out by The Square Deal in this community. Projects designed by students ranged from installation, sculpture, photography, painting, assemblage, and printmaking.

This exhibition ran from January 1-February 29, 2020.
